Unless you happened to have ever lived around the corner fro the fish & chips shop owned by his parents in Glasgow, Scotland -- or obsessively follow the UK music scene -- chances are that you haven't heard of Paolo Nutini yet. But you will. By the end of the year, Nutini's name or at least one of his songs will in all likelihood be as familiar as that of James Blunt or Daniel Bad Day Powter. Because Nutini, at the ripe-old-age of 19, has been plucked by the music gods out of obscurity and dropped on the fast track to superstardom. The soulful singer-songwriter's debut album will be released in July by major label Atlantic Records, whose legendary founder, Ahmet Ertegun, personally asked Nutini to perform at his all-star tribute this summer at Carnegie Hall.
